Kolo is a traditional Ethiopian snack consisting of a combination of roasted grains such as barley, chickpeas, and sunflower seeds. The snack can be prepared in savory or sweet versions by using either a paste made from cooking oil and berbere spices, or a combination of honey and crushed niger seeds.
