How to Mark an Order as Completed

When you dispatch an order, you can mark it as complete through your Shop Dashboard. This notifies the buyer that their order is on its way.

To mark an order as complete:

  1. 1. On Osbisy.com, click the Your Account icon.
  2. 2. Click Vendor Dashboard.
  3. 3. Click Orders.
  4. 3. In the Open orders tab, you’ll see a list of your sales that you haven’t marked as dispatched yet.
  5. 4. Click the eye icon on the right side of the order you’re interested in under the ACTION row Or hover over on Order Id no (eg, order 12234) under the Order row. Then, Go to General Details block click, Edit next Order Status and select Completed to mark as completed and lastly, click Update button. Note, When you mark an order as completed, we automatically send your customer an email letting them know their item is on the way. Please mark an order as dispatched when you send the package.
  6. 5. Then you can take these optional steps:
    1. – Add a personal Note to Buyer. You can save up to 7 versions of your Note to Buyer. To save a note, click the Add Note in the bottom right corner of the Order Notes  field.
    2. – Add a tracking number, if one was provided by your delivery carrier.

Best practices

Dispatch on time

Your buyers and Osbisy expect you to fulfil and dispatch orders within your listed processing times. Osbisy considers an order overdue once its processing time has passed and it isn’t marked as dispatched.

Sellers with overdue orders are at a higher risk of having complaints filed against them, since processing times help determine the estimated delivery date and case and review eligibility.

A buyer can open a case or leave a review once the processing time and delivery days associated with the listing have passed.

 
Mark orders as completed after they’re mailed

When a package is marked as completed but isn’t in route to the buyer, it creates a false expectation of when they’ll receive their order.

When you mark an order as completed, we automatically send your customer an email letting them know their item is on the way.

Note: Please mark an order as completed when you send the package. Marking an order as dispatched early impacts case and review eligibility.

How to enter your delivery provider

If you enter a tracking number for the package, in most cases, we will suggest a provider based on the number you entered. You will have the option to either select a different provider from the dropdown list or enter a different provider altogether by selecting Other from that list.

Osbisy currently supports comprehensive tracking on-site for over 100 carriers worldwide. If you are using a carrier that Osbisy does not support tracking for, the tracking number will link off to the carrier’s site, where available.

How to add tracking information after marking an order as complete

After you mark an order as complete, you can add tracking information at a later date.

To add a tracking number to an order:

  1. 1. On Osbisy.com, click the Your Account icon.
  2. 2. Click Vendor Dashboard.
  3. 3. Click Orders.
  4. 3. In the Open orders tab, you’ll see a list of your sales that you haven’t marked as Completed or you did.
  5. 4. Click the eye icon on the right side of the order or on Order Id you’re interested in. Then, Go to Order Notes block.
  6. 5. Click Tracking Number.
  7. From here you can:
    • Choose a Dispatch Date. You can choose to set a Dispatch Date up to two days in the future. We will not send a Dispatch Notification to your buyer until the package’s Dispatch Date. Dispatch Dates are based on UK Time.
    • Add a personal Note to Buyer.
    • Add a tracking number, if one was provided by your delivery carrier. If you already added a tracking number to the order previously, this new tracking number will appear on the order in addition to the previous number(s) you have entered.

How to add a Personal Note to Buyers

After you mark an order as complete, or before to notify any information regarding the order.

To add a personal note for buyer  to an order:

  1. 1. On Osbisy.com, click the Your Account icon.
  2. 2. Click Vendor Dashboard.
  3. 3. Click Orders.
  4. 3. In the Open orders tab, you’ll see a list of your sales and then find order Id no. that you would like to send.
  5. 4. Click  on the Order Id no. Or the eye icon on the right side of the order  you’re interested in. Then, Go to Order Notes block.
  6. 5. Under Add Note, type your message on box field.
  7. Finally, make sure you selected Customer note and then click, Add Note button. we automatically send your customer an email letting them know your note regarding their item.
