The buyer can include a gift message when they checkout. If they select to include a gift message in their order, all you’ll have to do is print it out and place it in with their package.
The gift message will include:
- – The buyer’s custom message
- – Your shop name
- – The item purchased
To offer gift message services:
- 1. From Addons, Scroll down to Offer gift messages.
- 2. Click Create New Addon on the right side of the page.
- 3. You can add product level add-ons by editing a product.
Setting to offer gift wrapping
Add-on settings allow you to configure add-ons that apply to all products, or products in selected categories. This includes:

- Step 1: Type Name: Used to differentiate add-ons from one another, this is not displayed on the website. By default, this is filled in for you.
- Step 2: Enter Priority: Specify the order in which to display, if there is more than one add-on activated. An add-on with priority 1 would be above an add-on with priority 10.
- Step 3: Select Product Categories: Set to All products, or choose categories to apply the add-on. Removing the All products tag will deactivate the add-on, which can be handy for seasonal add-ons or time specific add-ons.

- – Add-on fields are added the same way for both per-product and global add-ons. This panel is found on a new or existing product. To add your first add-on, click the “Add field” button. This will insert a blank add-on:

- Step 1: Go to field Type from the top-most select box, Select
- Short Text – There are five in-built types. This shows a text field where users can enter either any text; just letters; just numbers; both; or an email address only.
- Step 2: Go to Restriction, Select Any Text.
- Step 3: Select the Format the title as a Label.
- Step 4: Select Required Field.
- Step 5: Select Limit character length. Enter a minimum and maximum value for the limit range.
- Step 7: Select Adjust price, Add a label for each option as well as a price if needed. Calculate the price as a flat fee regardless of quantity, per quantity ordered, or, charge a percentage of the base price.
- Step 8: Once you are done, click Update,
- Step 5: Save when you are done. Click Publish.
